Judgement Sundays at The Syndicate in Blackpool!

Its that time of year when the clocks have just gone forward that I always start thinking of the summer – and how quickly the winter has whizzed by!!!!! Most of the Ibiza plans are already in place and I will be back at Judgement Sundays and Charlys Angelz for yet another summer – details on both coming very soon. Summer however, is coming just a little bit earlier for me this year because Judgement Sundays are doing a minitour before the summer actually begins – the first being at the almighty Syndicate superclub in Blackpool. There are other dates about the country with many of the Judgement Sundays regulars playing at each one, but I am playing up at the first one in Blackpool joining Judge Jules, Lisa Lashes, Fubar, Oliver Lang and Sonny Wharton for what I am sure will be a massive start to the Judgement Sundays calender for 2007. Its bank holiday weekend so even though its a sunday night – no excuses!!!! What better way could there be to spend Easter than in one of the best clubs in the country at the first Judgement of the year?!

February and March were again both hectic months for me. Following my previous news I obviously was in on Eddie Halliwell’s show on Radio One. I had a great time on the show – Eddie had me readying out the Emails so it was great to be fully involved so to speak. If you didn’t get chance to hear the show or the mix – the mix that I did is now up on my media section with a full tracklisting, and I will be putting a copy of the show up on a new page which I will have up on the site very soon.

The following weekend I had a gig at Arq in Manchester which has now unfortunately had to close its doors. Big thanks to Lil Louis who regularly had me down to play at this wicked little bar on the locks.

A week or so later and it was down to London for what promised to be the biggest all female event ever to take place in the Capital – and La Vita didn’t let anyone down. So many female DJ’s, singers and dancers gathered to help to raise money for breast cancer awareness and the night, run by DJ Miss Divine and the La Vita crew was indeed awesome. Held on a thursday night I think many people doubted that clubbers would stay out so late on a school night. I’m not sure whether it was because the night was in aid of charity, or because all the artists involved were simply awesome – but this was a night that really shouldn’t have been missed and I feel very privilidged that I played and that I was present for such a great party. Everyone definately had their party boots on. Photos of the event can be seen on DSI and La Vita will be running nights in Ibiza this summer at the beautiful Hush bar in San Antonio so please show your support for future events.

Next up was Gatecrasher at The Brunel Rooms. As a trance DJ I am sure I don’t even have to say it – but this was one I was really axcited about. I had never played at a Gatecrasher event before and I was really looking forward also to playing at the Brunel Rooms which used to be one of my old regular clubbing haunts in the days when the fruit club was every friday night. In fact, it turned into a bit of a reunion for me with some of my friends from those hazy days coming up to the club to show their support (and for a bit of nostalgia). I played alongside the residents and also JFK and Solarstone. It was a wicked night and even though I was on last everyone was still bang up for it right till the very end. It was great to be back in Swindon (where I used to live) and am hoping I’ll be back there again at some stage.

So, whats coming up??………..well I’ve already mentioned Judgement Sundays – but before then I have gigs coming up at the MTV partyzone event in Estonia. I have played Club Hollywood before in Tallin but never for an MTV event so am really looking forward to this one. Then just after that I am back at Pams House In Norwich – this is one of my favourite events that I play and is always a massive night. I will be doing sets in the main room, also a house set in the Phunky arena and then another set at the wicked after part down at Lava and Ignite – so a long night for me down there!!! The week after Judgement I am headlining down at Platinum Trance at Venom in Newbury for the out of Order crew. Graham Gold is playing also so except a full on night of trance down there. And then its up to Essex for House Concept in Essex before finishing the month off up in Scotland. All gigs and details are listed on my events page – and please feel free to let me know if you are going to be at any of them on my guestbook page or on my myspace.

On the production side of things – I am still waiting on the Silver Whispers remix to be completed. However – better news for Eternal Dream. I now have an absolutely fabulous remix from Ian Betts and am just waiting for the final touches on the Paul Kershaw remix and then this package will be doing the rounds very very soon! In addition, my Edge of the Ocean remix is now in hands of Mr Steve Birch (aka Solstice) and the full package including his original, his remix, the Mike Haze Remix and another remix from Mark Versluis should also be out and about very soon.

So thats me pretty much up to date once again.

Until the nmext installent,

Vicky D xx
