// Ibiza, Radio One Mix and Company Magazine!! // 27.08.08// Back to News IndexIbiza Baby!!!!! Thats what the past 12 weeks has been about for me. It all started way back in May and my feet haven't touched the floor ever since!!!! Its been another fantastic season for me over here both in Ibiza and Majorca with so much to talk about I hardly even know where to begin!!! My residency at Judgement Sundays kicked off on June 8th and we are now just about to enter the last month of summer 2008 events. Each and every one has been amazing, but the highlight for me was the Radio One Weekend just a few weeks ago. Obviously the Radio One weekend in Ibiza is a massive series of events anyway, but the entire weekend finished with sets at Judgement Sundays being recorded to go out the following week on Judge Jules's Show. I was slightly overwhelmed when I was asked if it was possible that one of those sets could be mine alongside Jules's and Ferry Corstens!!!!!!!!!!........... but of course I jumped at the chance to have one of my Judgement sets be recorded and go out on Radio One, alongside an interview from the night and I even got to pick the recovery record for the end of the show and the end of the Radio one weekend!!!! I will be uploading the mix and interview on the radio section very soon, but in the meantime I just wanted to say thankyou to everybody who messaged me about the show and the mix when it was broadcast - the response was amazing!!! My other massive residency on the neighbouring Balearic island of Majorca has also been going from strength to strength. BCM this year has had some major refits and some absolutely huge lineups including Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Eddie Halliwell and Erick Morillo to name but a few. To have Angels of Funk vs Dirty Little Funkers in such an a amazing club each and every Friday has been incredible yet again, and our guests have done nothing less than rock the house!!! So big thanks so far to Jay Funk, Slipmatt, Lee Butler, Paul Kershaw, John Kelly, Amber Savage, Abigail Bailey and of course not forgetting my partner in crime DJ Paul Dunne - its been a pleasure having had all of you out there and we've still got another month of parties to go!!!! Charlys Angelz - 8 years on the island and still going strong. Again we have had some fabulous nights down at Play 2 this summer with some incredible female DJ's every Saturday night. There was also an interview and review about the night in July's edition of M8 magazine. Last but by no means least, Company Magazine were over on the white isle in July working on a special Ibiza Edition for their magazine. Whilst they were here they basically interviewed many of the girlies who live and work out here in Ibiza each and every summer, and that included some of the female DJ's of course including Lisa lashes, Sarah Main, Daisy Heartbreaker......and yours truly. September's special Ibiza Edition has just come out, so please go and buy a copy and show your support for us Ibiza girlies!!!!!!! I will also have some news about my new track "Facing The Truth" very very soon. I am very excited about this as my last two tracks "Silver Whispers" and "Shape Up" were both supported in Tiesto's Radio Shows and Podcasts, so am looking forward to seeing what will happen with "Facing the Truth" which I think is my best track to date.
